My old vacuum was still working but clearly struggling so I got the new VAX Power 7 Pet. I can sum up in one word how well it cleaned the carpets ; floors... WOW!
I have three dogs who have very different coat types, retrievers who have softer hair which clings to everything and an African street dog whose hair is very capable of embedding itself into anything it touches, (rather like Christmas tree needles do and you are forever finding them long after Christmas has past). So with the different coat types and three sets of muddy paws coming into the house daily the Power 7 Pet was in for a very tough challenge!
I have a mixture of floor surfaces, some laminate, rugs, vinyl floor covering and mostly carpets. The Power 7 Pet coped with everything thrown at it all floor surfaces and the grit from the paws and dog hair.
The Power 7 Pet was delivered on Thursday morning after I had just cleaned everything with my old vacuum cleaner. Wanting to try out the VAX immediately I set to and cleaned my carpets a second time and was amazed at how much pet hair and grit my old vacuum was not picking up!
I found the VAX Power 7 Pet easy to use and lightweight. It has a 4 litre capacity, more than most, smaller types of vacuum that I have had in the past. It has hepa filters so less fine dust can be blown back into the room,and reduces bateria and allergens. The length of the lead to the plug socket is good as I did not have to keep swapping plug in points around a room and the length of the hose made cleaning the stairs a piece of cake!
I would highly recommend this machine for any pet owning household.
I would thoroughly recommend this Vax Vacuum Cleaner to anyone. The suction is so powerful especially when using the turbo brush. My elderly mother has a Jack Russell dog and it quickly and efficiently picked up all the dog hairs with ease something that her previous cleaner struggled with. It comes with a multitude of accessories making this a good all-round versatile cleaner and I have no hesitation in recommending this product.
